When I look back on the penguin mother and baby chick drawing I did for Mother's Day, it felt like it lacks something, a background. I thought I'd add a plain pencil shading, but this idea came up. It took me some trouble to cut out the paper to cover the drawing part so I won't spill the ink all over, but it was worth it.
